The BSB-1 is the shape of the rubberset 400 brush. The BSB-2 is the shape a chubby type size 1, but not the modern chubby.

А ясно. Здесь имеется в виду, что это первый проект от Хуана.
BSB-2 это его второй проект, по которому почти нет никакой инфы.

Антон, у меня очень длинная и длительная переписка с Хуаном. Эту модель он называет во всех письмах BSB-1 и никак иначе. Ну а просто BSB это не какая-то модель помазка, это общее название всех его помазков. В будущем он возможно выпустит десятки разных моделей и все они наверняка будут BSB.
BSB это не Barcelona shaving Brush.
BSB это Barcelona Shaving Brushes (название конторы, а не модель помазка).

I guess early April 2015. Those are the plans.

I've decided to include a travel case. I think you will like. It is a functional case, which will help when you go travelling. And it will match with the brush, with its design. And there will not be carton box, beyond the outer shipping carton.

The price of the complete brush is calculated with VIE-LONG knots, made in Spain, one of the best knots on the world, not chinese knots of undefined origin and quality.
Also is possible Muhle STF XL synthetic knot, same price than Vie-Long two band knot.

To the price of complete brush, I must add shipping costs which include registered mail and outer packaging costs. In the shipping costs there is no discount.

Now Info about the brush:

The handle is one piece. The colored O-ring is a cosmetic issue.
Made of aluminum. Polished and finished by hand. Will need a gentle cleaning from time to time, when tarnish, with soft cream or metal polish and a cloth, like all polished metals, and will shine like new.
85 grams aprox, 80 mm long. Hole 25 mm bore to install a knot 24 mm.
Please take note that this brush is not an original Rubberset 400. It is an homage, a tribute to it. Its value is different. It is lovely too, but humbly I have to say that's not an original old brush. I tried to respect it, although there are some subtle differences.

One is that it is a one piece brush.
Another, the colored O-ring, that the original one does not carry.
And the weight and some measures. This is heavier, to give it more stability when standing, wet and full of lather.
My personal expertise in restoring the finest barber brushes in the world, has helped me to make my re-interpretation of this model that I love and is not in production. But now everyone can have a BSB. In modern aluminum, no casting bubbles, no high lead content. Machined on a CNC lathe, after many prototypes destroyed, following my personal indications, in a semi-traditional way, with several machines involved. Polished and finished by hand by an expert polisher. Washed and gently hand polished with a cotton cloth and soft metal polish cream by myself. Packaged by me, with cotton gloves so as not mark it with my fingerprints. It has a good quality, but again I have to humbly say that its value is different. Has value, but in other way. Make no mistake.

Кстати у них новое мыло/aftershave - Полуночный Олень (судя по описанию, аромат одного концепта с реднеком)

Антон, на тот момент Хуан наверняка не планировал выпускать другую модель. Сейчас он этот помазок сам называет BSB-1, это ведь не я придумал. Ну значит "переименовал" он его
Может теперь эта модель стала например толще на 0.0001мм и теперь это уже не BSB, а BSB-1

Нет, конечно пучок можно посередине плотно перемотать скотчем , под самый край зажать в тиски и тупо вырвать
